FEATURED GUESTS
Jerry McNerney
Jerry McNerney, a renewable energy businessman, is challenging Republican Richard Pombo in CD-11. Jerry was inspired to run for Congress by his son, Michael, who joined the military in response to the 9/11 attacks. Unlike Pombo, Jerry supports the toughest ethics reform in Congress. Jerry is supported by community groups across all four counties of CD-11–and across party lines, including Democrats, Republicans, and Independents.
Charlie Brown
Charlie Brown, Lt. Col. Ret, is challenging Republican John Doolittle in CD-4. Charlie spent 26 years in the U.S. Air Force. He served as a rescue helicopter pilot at the end of the Vietnam War, and has flown reconnaissance missions in support of military operations around the world. He is also a credentialed California teacher and a former professional staff member at the Roseville Police Department.
Pete McCloskey
Pete McCloskey, attorney and environmentalist, is a former Republican congressman serving from 1967 to 1983. He ran on an anti-war platform for the Republican nomination for President in 1972, but was defeated by incumbent President Richard Nixon. Pete challenged Republican Richard Pombo in the recent Republican primary. He has since endorsed Democrats Jerry McNerney to defeat Richard Pombo, and other Democrats such as Charlie Brown.
