Vote for Jerry McNerney Today!

Thanks in part to Progressive Democrats of the East Bay and other Northern California progressives, Jerry McNerney received a huge victory in the 11th Congressional district Democratic primary. Jerry, a renewable energy expert, received 53 percent of the vote in a 3-way race for the Democratic nomination.

The McNerney campaign organized a strong grassroots alliance of concerned citizens, union members, local Democratic clubs, and DFA and PDA members to promote Jerry's message of renewable energy, health care for all, and an end to the violence in Iraq.

Although Jerry is leading entrenched Republican Richard Pombo in the polls (46 to 42 percent, according to Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research) he still needs money – and lots of it – to send Pombo and his Big Oil buddies packing.
