Progressive Democrats of the East Bay is organizing a GOTV caravan in support of progressive candidates Jerry McNerney and Charlie Brown. A strong showing by these candidates in the primary will give them a tremendous boost in the general election as they seek to unseat entrenched Republicans from Congress.
We are currently planning a caravan of cars for precinct walking and other GOTV activities in CA District 11* (in support of Jerry McNerney) and CA District 4* (in support of Charlie Brown).
Some of us will be spending the night on the road, but this is optional. You can join us for one or both days.
This should be an exciting and fun way to support these candidates. Details of this plan will be forthcoming.
*CA District 11 includes Morgan Hill, Dublin, Pleasanton, Tracy, Manteca, Lodi and part of Stockton. CA District 4 includes Auburn, Oroville, Tahoe, Truckee and north to the Oregon border. We will be focusing on strategic areas that are easily accessible from the East Bay.
