PD–EB Kick Off Meeting for 2007 (Jan 20)

On Saturday, January 20 at 11:30am, Progressive Democrats of the East Bay kicks off 2007 with a planning meeting that will help determine our priorities and direction for the upcoming year. This meeting will be held at the Berkeley Fellowship Unitarian Universalists at Bonita and Cedar in Berkeley.

ALL MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO THIS GENERAL MEETING

Among the topics we plan to discuss include the following:

  • General discussion of accomplishments (and failures) of 2006

  • Increasing participation in PD-East Bay activities

  • Organization and structure of PD–EB

  • Participation in PD–EB action groups:

    • Anti-war
    • Universal Health Care
    • Media Reform
    • Clean Money
    • Labor
    • Any other progressive cause dear to your heart. . .

  • Networking / collaboration with other progressive groups in the Bay Area

  • PD–EB General Meetings: format, frequency, and venue

  • Steering committee meetings and participation

  • Open discussion on PD–EB priorities
