1. The Human and Legal Issues Surrounding Immigration (Sun, Aug 20th)

Please join us at our next PD–East Bay meeting on Sunday August 20th.

Attorney Jim Gonzales from the No More Deaths campaign will show the DVD "Dying to Live," which documents the plight of migrants from Mexico and Central America crossing the Arizona desert.

Evelyn Sanchez will discuss the current Congressional legislation on immigration and the impact on citizens and non-citizens in this country.

Following the presentations and discussion, our guests will let you know what you can do to help the "No More Deaths" immigrant rescue and advocacy program.
