1. Vote for Charlie Brown and Jerry McNerney Today!
 Your online vote can help progressive candidates Charlie Brown and Jerry McNerney raise funds for their upcoming November challenges to entrenched Republicans Doolittle and Pombo!
Forward Together is raising money for progressive candidates in races to take back the House. This is your chance to vote in their MapChangers poll and send much needed funds to the Brown and McNerney campaigns.
How It Works
The MapChangers Poll is now in the second of three rounds of online voting. The winners of the online poll receive funds and an opportunity to participate in ongoing fundraisers to raise even more money.
Please register and log in to MapChangers and vote for Charlie and Jerry today!
The second round ends Thursday, June 29th. Your participation in the DFA poll helped make the difference for Jerry McNerney. Let's do it again for both Jerry and Charlie Brown.
2. Join Jerry McNerney in the Danville 4th of July Parade
Please Join Democratic nominee for Congress Jerry McNerney and the Contra Costa Democratic Party in the Danville 4th of July parade.
This is a huge parade–over 30,000 attend and Richard Pombo (who Jerry is trying to unseat) is at this parade every year. This is the perfect time for a large show of support for Jerry!
Everyone invited. Here are the details:
Tuesday, July 4th
Show up at the staging area between 9:00am and 9:30am.
Parade starts at 10am.
The staging area will be on Railroad Ave.,
across from Trader Joe's
(near San Ramon Valley High School) in Danville.
Directions
Wear red, white,and blue (and hats and good walking shoes, too!) Signs and flags provided, but bring a McNerney sign or wear a McNerney T-shirt or button if you have one. Coffee and donuts provided. Arrive early, parking is difficult.

3. PD–East Bay Potluck – With a Touch of Politics (Sun, July 23)
Please come to our second annual PD–East Bay Picnic & Politics Barbecue!
We're inviting PD–East Bay members, friends, and the membership of other progressive organizations to join us. We'll bring the drinks and charcoal–please bring something for the grill or something to share.
