The agenda for the meeting will revolve around the upcoming California Special Election. It is important that we stand up to the Governor, defeat his agenda, and support the progressive propositions on the ballot.
1. PD–East Bay Presentation on the California Special Election Propositions
PD–East Bay members will make brief presentations on each of the propositions for the California Special Election.
These presentations should help make clear the reasons to oppose the Governor's agenda in this election.
2. Jen Roitman from the Alliance for a Better California will discuss mobilization to Get Out the Vote in Alameda county.
Jen is the campaign manager for the Alliance's Northern California Field Office. She will discuss efforts under way to get out the vote in Alameda County, and how you can be involved in this effort. There has been much activity already the past few weeks but more work is needed. Come hear how you can join the effort to support progressive causes in the election.
