PD–East Bay endorses the following event, which is put on by the Voting Rights Task Force, and others. The Voting Rights Task Force has asked me to forward the following message to our members.
This is the final day before the Elections in Crisis! event in Oakland on Tues. Sept. 13. It's a rare convergence when Bob Fitrakis, Steven Rosenfeld, Bev Harris, and the best documentaries on our vanishing votes all appear on the same program. The Voting Rights Task Force is one of the most active groups in California working to inform the public about the hidden danger of unverifiable "blackbox" voting machines owned by private corporations, counting our votes in secret.
The Bush regime's sense of responsibility to the people of the USA is made starkly evident by the destruction of New Orleans. While it's evident Bush is unfit for president, how about revisiting the question, how did he get elected in the first place?
We think the answer is: He didn't. Not in 2000. Not in 2004 either.
Please come hear the evidence that 2004 was stolen, and that democracy is held hostage, everywhere electronic voting machines are counting the votes.
