Dear Speaker Pelosi:


The evidence of impeachable offenses by the Bush administration is overwhelming. The American people are counting on you to defend the Constitution, as required by your oath of office.

The Bush administration led this country into an illegal war based on lies and deception about weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

Add to this the illegal surveillance of the American people by the Executive Branch, violations of the U.N. Torture Convention and the Geneva Convention, torture and extraordinary rendition, and signing statements.

Surely all these activities warrants a complete, immediate investigation.

Do not cede to the Executive Branch the power granted to Congress by the Constitution.
